The Problem.
In my office software class, my group needed a Web site for our fictitious business, Premier Painters. I took the opportunity to flex my design muscles and created a site that reflect the company’s homey image.
The Solution.
Since Premier Painters is more about service than glitz, I decided to keep things simple. I used a limited color palette and clean lines to minimize visual distractions. For the typeface, I chose Cooper Black for its down-home, Midwestern charm. And to keep things focused on the work at hand, I centered the design on the tools of the trade: a paint bucket and giant paint brush.
